Overview

Uttari Betta, also known as Hutridurga, is a popular trekking destination situated 75-80 km from Bangalore. It is a 4 km hike, which is ideal for those seeking an easy trek with beautiful scenery. The path offers a stunning open landscape and impressive views. It begins in a small village and leads you through the remnants of fort walls and seven stone gates. Halfway along the trail, you’ll encounter a Shiva temple. 

The view from the temple is a highlight of the trek, offering a memorable panorama. Beyond the temple, you'll traverse a small jungle cave and then emerge onto a grassy hilltop surrounded by massive boulders.

At the summit, you can explore both a fort and a temple, and there’s also a man-made pool perfect for capturing cool reflection photos.
