The trip starts with a short hike to the secret viewpoint of Jog Falls. The next hidden waterfalls in the Kogaru region of Sharavathi Valley can be reached after an exciting trek of 3km. The waterfalls journey continues by visiting Bheemeshwara Falls and the ancient Bheemeshwara Shiva temple inside a cave. The Shiva Linga is believed to be placed by Pandavas during the vanavas, while the temple was built around the Hoysala period.
