Agumbe blossoms to life when the monsoon hits the western ghats, it is nestled in the heart of tropical rainforests with rich biodiversity. It receives over 7550 mm of rainfall throughout the year, the wettest being July.
Agumbe is also called as capital of King Cobra along with an exceptional repository of the most biodiverse and unique animal life and plants. Malabar whistling thrush and Malabar gliding frogs are just a few to list.
We will be exploring the Kaveladurga fort base, Kundadri hills, Varahi River reservoir, Devagange, and Nagara-fort overall.
